Join us for the monthly event showcasing innovation and entrepreneurship across our region. Speaker is Meg Sranske is a currently retired Executive Director, New Ventures, at SC Johnson.  In this role, she was charged with setting deal generation direction for New Ventures by immersing and engaging with entrepreneurial ecosystems such as venture capital firms, accelerators and innovation practitioners.  Meg networked and nurtured relationships and opportunities of interest to SC Johnson.

In Meg’s 30 year career at SCJ, she headed Enabling Innovation, driving cross functional capabilities and methods development through training and coaching new processes and tools (Design Methods, Breakthrough).  Additionally, she oversaw External Outreach, which includes working with external inventors to identify, evaluate and license new technologies, products and patents for incorporation into well-known brands such as Glade®, Mr. Muscle®, Windex®, Pledge®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Raid® and Ziploc®. Her responsibilities also included oversight of the company’s Greenlist™ Sustainability initiative.  Prior to that, she worked in Brand Marketing.

Meg has a Master’s Degree in Design Methods from the Institute of Design, an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as the State Chairperson for Distinguished Young Women of Wisconsin, a scholastic honorary program for high school females, which awards $60,000 per year in college scholarships throughout the state of Wisconsin.
